  The story of our little girl Tess starts with the listing on the RSPCA website. 

My wife and I went to see her and took her out into the paddock to get to know her. The chemistry was instant. It was like she’d always been ours, playing ball and taking biscuits from my mouth, I new Tess was meant to be with us. 

Having had a horrible start in life, Tess had been abused by previous owners, we were determined to give her a great life and spoil her rotten. I’m proud to say that we did exactly that. We didn’t treat her like a dog, she was a member of the family, our little girl. 

Tess went everywhere with us. Holidays were changed to include her. She loved the Peak District and beaches of Northumberland and really took notice of her surroundings, to the extent that she knew her way when returning the following year. I even took her camping with me once in Essex. Always interested, and sociable with both people and other dogs, in fact too friendly for her own good sometimes, expecting others to be as friendly as her which sadly wasn’t always the case. Many a time she’d run up to random people, drop her ball at their feet and start barking, asking them to play with her which they usually did once I’d explained. She liked to roll and go crazy too, especially in the snow, while having a big smile on her face. The more we laughed the more she’d do it wagging her tail constantly. 

Tess was a proper daddy’s girl. Mum was lovely at mealtimes but it was me she wanted to be with and I got most of the kisses, 

except when I had to leave for work, 

then I was snubbed lol 

Tess was such an intelligent, playful and unbelievably affectionate little girl. We’re so glad we’ve had her in our lives, 

we just wish more than anything 

it could have been for longer. 

At the time we got Tess from the RSPCA I was in a bad place personally and I always kinda felt like we rescued each other. We’ve got so many happy memories, 

photos and videos of her. 

We’ll both treasure the time we had together. 

RIP Monkey we’re glad you no longer have to struggle or be in pain, we just miss you soooo much and I hope we’ll be together again someday xx

You came into my life and helped me 

along my healing journey. You picked me to be your mummy and when dad came into the mix you were so accepting and understanding. You were so poorly through Covid but you made it and we had another 5 years with you.

You'll always be my special boy.

Our world, our whole life!

We are heartbroken, you took a part of us with you when you went to Rainbow Bridge, but the amazing memories we have of the time we all spent together are precious and will live with us forever. 15 years of unconditional love, laughter and fun with you, we wouldn't change a thing. 

You were the best friend that anyone could have asked for, our only wish would be that you could have lived even longer, and one thing that we know is that if love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. 

Our lives won't ever be the same without you, but you will live on in our hearts. 

We loved you your whole life and will miss you for the rest of ours. 

Run free baby girl,

My beautiful girl Brandy, you gave me 9 years of unconditional love and companionship. 

A best friend and a protector rolled into one. 

We rescued you at 3 or 4 years old when you were about to lose your life. 

You came with us and gave us life. 

You helped me through some of my darkest times, my special girl. You were wild and naughty, just unique, I wouldn't have ever changed a thing. 

Thank you for coming into my life x

My beautiful Bella ...

I was very fortunate to share my life with her for the last 12 years.

Bella was extremely loving, funny, cheeky and her emotional intelligence was something I've never experienced before.

She loved playing tug, cuddling and going on adventures...

Well, as long as it didn't rain...

But it was at home where she was at her happiest, with blankets and cushions...

Lots of them!

I will love this girl forever.

You are missed very much baby girl but the memories we have made will live on.

Dr. Ali made one of the most painful experiences into a peaceful and bearable moment. The care and compassion shown towards our beloved dog, Coco, and to us was such a comfort in those final moments. 

Dr. Ali is a wonderful vet and a special human being. While no one hopes or plans for that time I would highly recommend Dr. Ali for when that time does come, she is the perfect guardian for all our angels.

Hank was our chosen one, our truly beloved boy. We rescued him from Romania- I did lots of research before he came and knew all about his guarding tendencies and his distrust of strangers and in many ways he was a challenge. But oh my goodness, when he loved you he really loved you and would have protected us to his dying breath I have no doubt. He was such a beautiful boy and was admired by everyone who met him- even if they weren't allowed to pet him.

Angel Wings made his passing soft and calm and we will always be eternally grateful for that.

He will leave an enormous hole in our hearts and home that I know will never be filled. We love you precious boy- sleep well Hanky Panky Pudding Pie thanks for the memories

My beautiful boy Zak left us on the 27th of December. From the minute we got him we knew he was special, he was our best Friend, and a big part of my childhood. Although everyone was scared of him, he was the most lovable dog, he loved treats, going for walks, playing with rabbits. He would have never hurt a fly. He was scared of fireworks, but we used it as an excuse for him to come sleep upstairs.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Ali for making a heartbreaking moment, the best it could be. She sent my boy off the most peaceful way, in his own home, surrounded by those who loved him.  Ali didn't rush us, she was patient with us, saying our last goodbye wasn't easy but she understood how difficult it was. 

We was with him his whole life, while he was only part of ours, if I could take a few years of my life to give him I definitely would have done. Until we meet again.

Bella, I just want to say how much love and joy you brought to this family, you met so many people what used to ask about you over the phone you was loved by so many people. 

I remember when I first rescued her at 6 months old and she was called Marbles bless her I knew I had to change that name :) so me my partner and daughter who was one year at time I told my partner Bella was for my daughter as my partner Samantha didn't want a pet at that time with our daughter so young and our first child. But she definitely was for me and it was the best baby in the world Bella I mean, not my daughter :)  I trained her so well I could trust her with my life not like you could with people. She really got me through so much. 

I feel so lost without her. She was amazing. I love you Bella Bennett RIP my beautiful girl

Togo made me smile from the day he was born he was a happy boy always wagging his tail. He spent his winters racing in the forests and his summers just enjoying life with his family. 

He loved playing fetch and running about with his toys. 

He was more than special he was one of a kind and will be missed every day. 

Thank you to Ali @ Angel Wings for taking such good care of my boy.

Lily was the toughest most protective funny little dog, we loved her for 13 years and still do. 

She was so adorable, a cute little fluffball that was very protective of me and my daughters. She was taken to bed every night by Izzy and walked by Alyssa and Amelia.

She loved squeaky toys, cardboard rolls and sneezing! Such a fiesty loving little dog that gave us her life to comfort and make us laugh, and we in turn cared for her in her old age and made her as happy as possible. 

Lily will never be forgotten or replaced and the ache will never go away. We got to have lots of cuddles and give Lily her favourite treats as she gently and calmly fell asleep at home and this is really helping us all to grieve. 

Knowing Ali completely understands Lily was another family member is immeasurable and I know she taking gentle respectful care of Lily on that last journey. 

We love you Lily and thank you for 13 years.

He came into my life in 2008. He was a true feral living in a small colony that I managed to trap and get neutered. They were all beautiful in their own way but my sweet Tudes lit up my world instantly. I began looking after them all, Twoee would wait till the kittens had eaten before he would eat. He was gentle and kind and loving and also a pint sized dictator. One morning he arrived after he had been attacked by a fox. We managed to get a serious neck wound treated when he got back I swore to him I'd get him a home with me forever. While I was saving him he saved me right back, each time my life fell apart that gentle soul held me together. When my old cat passed, Twoee licked the tears from my face. 

Over the years he was all I had, he was my family, just me and Twoee against the world. I always knew one day I would have to face the world without him. I know time will heal me but after his passing I physically ached. 

He was my once in a lifetime boy.

Photo of my two beautiful dogs, Mazie my loving Ruby Cavi and her little Jug Sister (by Love of course) Harley 8yrs old, our Mazie 13.5yrs, we picked her up at 10wks old, Mazie was very shy, but once home with our other 4 Cavis she was mothered by Penny my tri and became her protector. 

As Mazie got older, we picked up Harley our tiny Jug, and again Penny mothered her to. Then as the years flew by we were down to two dogs. 

Moving forward Mazie was in pain and so uncomfortable panting a lot, I did not want to put her thro an op to not survive and we miss to say goodbye. We do not have transport and Mazie hated buses, so I looked up vets that come to our home and found Angel Wings. I filled in a short form and within an hour Ali phoned me, and we arranged for her to come meet Mazie and help her cross the Rainbow Bridge. 

Ali is very Loving and a big hearted Lady and excellent at what she does, Mazie altho barked at her she soon calmed her down and had a cuddle. Ali never rushed us, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and then let Harley say bye by licking her eyes but this time Mazie didn't growl at her. 

Mazie's little quirk was to pretend to sneeze to get our attention she also snored very loudly. I have already told a couple of work mates about Angel Wings as they are dog lovers to, and to anyone who reads this put your trust in Ali, I'm so glad I did.
